Why times differ between sites
Prayer times come from the position of the sun, but countries count dawn and nightfall at different sun angles: 18° in one place, 15° or 20° in another. Some add a few minutes of caution, Hanafi Asr comes later than the standard one, and at high latitudes summer twilight never fully ends.
So two correct timetables can disagree by ten minutes or more. We use, for each country, the method its mosques and religious authority follow, and we test the results against official tables: Diyanet in Turkey, JAKIM in Malaysia, Kemenag in Indonesia, Dar al-Ifta in Egypt.
How we calculate
Every time on this site is computed from astronomy with the open-source adhan library, then tuned per country. The page you see already carries this month’s timetable, and your browser recalculates today’s times and the countdown live, even offline.
Your location never leaves your phone. There is no account and no app to install.
Questions people ask
How do I find prayer times near me?
Tap “Near me”. Your phone finds the closest city on the device itself and opens its page. Nothing is sent to our server.
Why is my mosque’s time different?
Mosques may use another angle for Fajr and Isha, round up, or add a few minutes of caution. Open Settings on a city page and use “Match my mosque” to align with its timetable.
Can I get a reminder before each prayer?
Yes: on any city page tap “Add to calendar”. Your phone calendar will remind you at every prayer, without an app and without notifications from a website.
Is there a printable timetable?
Every city page has “Print / PDF”: one clean A4 page for the month, with Hijri dates.
